look the underground anabolics book is kinda interesting but you really dont need it. it mentions testing of samples from certain labs to see if the dose is right and to see if they have any contaminants but even that is kinda inaccurate because to really do that you need to do it over a long time to paint a bigger picture of the quality of the lab. he didnt do that for the info in underground anabolics.

I read part of the preview last night. It was pretty good! This seems almost more like a biology/pharmacology reference book than anything else. There is a lot of good information in the preview of the book alone. Once I get finished reading the preview I might have to buy a copy.

there will be a lot of crap talk about the book and author because he makes certain ugl sound bad. good. those ugl owe it to customers to make sure gear is made correctly. so even though the book may not be necessary make sure you see the difference between someone saying you dont need the book because of this and that which is fine and then those that crap talking the authors legitimacy which is what reps for certain ugl's will do because the quality of their product was exposed.

just from hearing from you on here, I believe you will take the info from the books as what it is and also do some other types of your own research and come up with a very well rounded knowledge base of AAS. In my experience that is how I did it, except almost ass backwards. I did all the web/forum research I could then started reading books, I found like most on here that the book data was out dated but as far as profiles go they were pretty spot on, and like you I did enjoy the fact that it was easier to follow due to less mistakes (typos) for my young steroid mind. I remember before I ever took any juice answering questions of some highly experienced users, felt kinda good, lol. Good luck in your research man, and don't hesitate to clear up questions here.

Start researching here , because you can pm people with your questions and get them usually answered.

Think about buying books later and if you hate sitting on pc and reading educational treads , just print them out and read in your bed

I probably will buy that bodybuilding bodybuilding encyclopedia book.

    Can anyone recommend this book/author?

    Thanks,
I buy them all just for m collection and reference points. Try ebay or even amazon for used copies.
I like the hardcopy book versions better that Kindle or a PDF file.

Llewellyns books are top notch in my opinion. Cycle recommendations are maybe 2% of the content. There is a ton of great information in them. I am curious how many members who are recommending against reading it have actually read THIS book themselves?

I've purchased the Kindle version and think it has tons of great information. I'm the type of person that loves to know why and how things work and this books explains it very well. $10 for this book seems like a steal!

my point was they are unnecessary, as all info ever needed is right here, its just in a diff format.

if i had a difficulty with something i'd rather come on here and ask someone such as yourself, marcus or swifto etc, and was trying to convey that to a newcomer

i havent read that particular book but the ones a did mention are mainly a load of BS, and put me off reading any others as they all seemed to follow a similar brash statement format, like 'make this your bible' etc

I just got a book recently and its very informative so far, but prolly not for the typical person.
Testosterone: Action, Deficiency, Substitution by Nieschlag

Not sure if youve noticed but the guy writes the same thing for all compounds, just changes the names. He has a write up about superdrol in it on how you can expect big muscle and strength gains but in his recent muscular development magazine he states superdrol is nothing but glycogen loading that makes it appear like youve gained size. This guy doesnt know where hes standing imo ...

From what I've read this doesn't seem true. At a glance, it would seems that his profiles are similar but they are all steroids in the steroid profiles so that would make sense. All steroids increase lean muscle mass and have a similar side effects like a negative impact on HDL cholesterol. It would only make sense that those parts of the profile are similar.

The modern encyclopedia contains zero info on cycling and just warns of side effects

Underground handbook is all about current UGL's contamination levels/fakes/the business of running an UGL

    And anabolics 10 (below)

Wow, that cycle is complete crap. You get only 3 weeks of gains on that. I would've chosen a better example from the book.

Could use the pages as some handy toilet paper...

Why pay for the book? Everything is here for free online! Forums, websites, youtube, etc. etc. All free!

You could use that $10 and get some pins or some alchohol wipes damnit!!!
