    Age 19 and shut down

I have been careless and am paying the price. Any wise counsel regarding my recovery would be appreciated. Symptoms include erectile dysfunction, low libido, gyno, brain fog, lethargy, sore joints, and muscle wastage. Here is some background info:

Age 15: began taking Prozac for 1.5 years
Age 16: took superdrol/hdrol combo for 8 weeks (too long) and did insufficient pct (I force reversitol as stand alone. Developed gyno hardcore
Age 17: took letrzole at a high dose for a year straight (too long) to attempt to get rid of gyno to no avail. Killed my sex drive an couldn't get erections hard.
Age 18: got cortisone shots in each nipple four different times to reduce gyno but also killed muscle. Got acne hardcore after stopping letro. Began taking minocycline for acne. Started getting some erectile function. Then began taking finasteride prescribed by doctor for my hairline. After four months I completely shut down. Total ED, zero sex drive, muscles and joints shrinking, lethargy, brain fog.

I stopped taking finasteride after 4 months in April 2011. My total T in may was 569. In June after taking nothing it dropped to 463. I did nothing for four months hoping to improve and kept feeling worse. I knew my T was dropping still and didn't get it checked because the results made me more depressed. I finally got some flood and did a 2 week cycle. I got some erectile function back and my balls got bigger. My muscles were feeling week and so two weeks after finishing clomid I tool a light 3 week cycle of epistane which helped restore some muscle and reduced gyno some. My erections were more full and I was more alert and aggressive. I followed with a 4 week pct of Nolva. Felt terrible. Did two weeks of clomid after and was more depressed than ever. Afterwards I felt a lil better but still wasnt close to full recovery

You need to learn to regain some sort of normalization rather than hitting cycles and self prescribing meds.

The last two months I have been following a recommendation from propeciahelp.com I have been on progesterone cream, tyrosine, and theanine. I feel better than I have in a while but am still depressed. Muscles are growing slowly but surely and erections are improving but still weak. Ik it's a long process.

As far as bloodwork I assume dht levels are very low (finasteride) My T seems to be on the rise. Progesterone is seeming to help. It supposedly will balance the hormones.

I've seen many doctors and they just tell me I'm young and eventually will bounce back but in the meantime I think of suicide each day and miss having good hard sex. Progesterone seems to be helPing wih normalization

Prgesterone is a potent inhibitor of DHT as well. So your on progesterone cream and Finastride... DHT is low. Infact, it probably rock bottom and the source of your sides.

Energy, strength, aggression, labido, CNS function will all be down.

I'd like you to get a full blood panel so we can see whats going on then go from there.

Doctors are good/bad apples. Some of them dont know their arse from elbow.

I think your issue is probably testosterone and DHT. Estrogen may also be playing a role.

Without BW, I am mostly speculating though.

Just to clear things up I took if finasterise from november 2010 til April 2011 totaling 4.5 months. I stopped April 10 so I have been off 8.5 months.

I will post a link that shows the benefit of progesterone cream and amino acids I'm taking:

Cortisone is anti inflammatory and doesnt discriminate between breast tissue and muscle. My bench press has gone down considerably. Also cortisol works opposite of testosterone so cortisol injection is basically anti androgen directly into my pecs

    Its a corticosteroid.

Why are you not using SERMs for attakcing the gyno, something thats proven to work against gynocomastia growth/proliferation.

Corticosteroids/kenalog shots have no effect on glandular gyno tissue. They are used for post gyno surgery scar tissue build up.

Gyno isn't a huge issue anymore. It isn't too substantial and those shots were over a year ago. Clomid does seem tO help

Damn these threads are always the same,

Someone comes on and says I did this this and this and now I am fvkd. So someone like Swifto replies and suggests a course of action and rather than say yes I will do that the poster always sidesteps and explains the reasons for past actions etc. without ever responding to the request for bloodwork. Really no one can be much help without knowing what is going on inside the body.

Get the results of your latest bloodwork from your doctor or if you/he don't have any, get some done, and post it up so Swifto can do his best to help you.

People dont seem to realise without BW, we're playing a guessing game. And even the smarter guys that have experience in "guess work", can get it wrong.

Thats why, you'll always see me advise BW and sometimes have a stab at it anyhow, if I think I'm onto something. But even then, I'm speculating.

    OP... Get BW done asap.

    Everything...

Go to the doctor and get the bloodwork done. If you can't afford the costs, go to the county health office and apply for help as a Medically Indigent Adult. You might also want to get a second job to help raise the money. But you need bloodwork done now.

There are some ways people on here said to get it done without seeing a doctor. But in your case, you need to go to the doctor. That buffet of bloodwork Swift told you to get done isn't cheap either. That might cost up to and over a grand to get done depending on the lab you go to. Go to your county health office and get the paperwork to be a medically indigent adult. And ask them how to make an appointment with an endocrinologist through their MIA program.

They, by law, have to treat you if you cannot afford to pay. They might cover the costs of it for you or have you pay what you CAN afford. Bottom line is you need to go in there in person and ask.

Right now I am out of state on Christmas break. I have done some checking though and it says on the web that orange county indigents must be between 21 and 64. I'm only 19. Would it be of any benefit to post bloodwork from June?

Get current bw and once you get everything in normal ranges chill on all chemicals/drugs (except whatever dr's prescribe like anti-depressants) for a while and let your body get back to normal, good luck!

Call up the county office and ask them what you should do. And no blood work from June is from so long ago, it's useless now.

Yes. If you cannot afford to pay for care, the county health/hospital has to by law cover you.
