It's hard to quit cigarettes but I did it before, although I wasn't years-deep into smoking. For me, quitting weed was/is harder. I smoked weed for the past 10 years of my life pretty much everyday, throughout the day. I find alcohol makes me want to smoke again. And when I drink I want to smoke anything that smokes, including cigarettes. So yeah, stay away from the alcohol if you can.

Good luck quitting and I hope you stay clean.
Good job on giving up the dope mate, since 15 I was married to my bong I got off it cold turkey about 8 weeks before I started this cycle it was hard but I feel so much better and I bet you do also! As for the alcohol I had a bit of an addiction to that to but it's been almost one and a half years since I had a drink. I gave that up cold turkey too, I never had a problem giving up the smokes when i was young I could smoke ciggys for months solid and wake up the next morning and not smoke for a month or more. Since then I've had 2 children and the stress levels have risen dramatically, so I think it turned from
A habit to an addiction, but I know if I gave up the alcohol and pot the cigarettes shouldn't be much worse. Here I go!
