    muscle recovery on steroids?

I know when your not on steroids you really shouldnt train any muscle group more than once a week and i get that because often times after a good workout im sore for a few days, but when im on them i never get sore so my question is. When your on steroids how often is it ok to work the same muscle group without over training? Is it possible to overtrain on steroids?

Johnboy, and this should apply to when you're not on cycle too. But you shouldn't go by some schedule of when you can and can't lift. Your body will tell you when it needs to be rested. If it's been 6 days since you worked a body part and you feel like you're 100% go for it. Likewise, if at 7 days you still don't feel recovered, take an extra day off.

really depends on what you are doing. Ever done a 5x5 full body program lifting 3 times a week the entire body? People can handle that naturally, best I was able to do was work up to occasional 3 times a week and most weeks 2 times. Also tried squats and milk, and did fairly well since such high calorie intake. But these programs aren't the insane volume a lot of you guys do, less lactic acid build up which makes you sore. A lot of olympic lifters train something like squats every day, I would say most likely you need steroids to handle something like that. I have low test, but planning on doing a 4 day a week training protocol hitting everything basically twice a week, I should be able to handle that again once i start trt. I was able to do it before without it, although barely, and sometimes had to push back training sessions. It really depends on what you are doing, and if it benefits you to lift more often.

You can probably work them a little more but it depends on the supplements. It also depends on HOW much more and the intensity and volume like alex mentioned.

i personally think theres two different way to go, ones for strength and ones for size. yes you can work them more often depending on how hard your working them, i rather wrecked every muscle viber once a week let it rest heal and grow rather then hit a few sets 2-3 times a week. you grow when the muscles healing and resting. i find if i hit a muscle 2-3 a week with just a few heavy sets i get stronger faster. and if i tear it up one a week i still get stronger of course but i seem to gain more size

i prefer to wreck the muscle once a week.

My thing is whenever i hit the gym no matter what musclle group im working on or off the juice i destroy it. My avrage workout latley has been 20-25 sets of 10 reps on 4 or 5 differant exercise. When im not on the juice i feel like i need at least 4 days rest before i can hit it again because of how sore i get but when im on it im not even sore at all so i feel like i can hit it again the next day or day after its like recovery is instant but just because i can im not sure if i should.

I wouldn't, I don't feel doms are an accurate judgement of recovery. I train everything once a week like mark, hit it harder if you need to. Well taking slin pre workout along with gh peps and aas there were times I'd spend 2 and a half hours in the gym.

There are tons of factors that influence how long you should rest your muscles between workouts. And because there are so many factors, this is a very long article. LeanLifters Members get the full article. Everyone else gets the short version. Here are the factors:
    Things You Don’t Control
    Your genetics
    Your age
Which muscles we are talking about
Things Related To Your Workouts Themselves
    Your experience lifting
    What program/routine you are on
    How intense your workouts are
What non-lifting exercise you also do
What you are doing on your “rest days”
Things You Control, But Outside The Weight Room
    Your diet
Whether you are taking steroids or not
    Your sleeping
    Your stress levels
    Your mental strength
With all these factors, there’s no way to have a universal rule!
