after first injection help!!!

The oil may have moved. I posted a similar thread a few months ago. I pinned my quad and got a nice lump 4-5 inches away from the inj. site. It swelled and was red for a few days, moderate pain. Then it was gone.

Stop massaging. That can force the oil back out of the muscle so that it gets trapped between the muscle and its myofascial sheath. It absorbs poorly here and is able to be carried downward by gravity. At least that's my best theory on this phenomenon.

Just keep an eye on it and if it continues to get worse, get it checked out.
