When you say that you're a competitive athlete, what in particular do you compete in?

At 23, there are certain parts of your body that are in all probability still growing, such as your endocrine system. The general opinion is that you should not experiment with anabolic steroids until you've reached the age of 25, as this is when the typical male's hormone system has at last stopped developing. If at your age you are noticing a reverse in your ability to recover, the fact that you stated monotonous is probably a good indication that it's time for you to reevaluate your diet and exercise regimen. I wouldn't start cycling steroids just yet. Instead go over to the workout and nutrition forum and ask questions there. We have a lot of members who can help you to maximize both of these areas that attribute to your development.
