I seriously agree with this and Bear's statement regarding your trainer. Personal trainers are a dime a dozen in most cases and they all have varying opinions, but full-body workouts, in my opinion, are not conducive to gaining mass. Working one muscle group per day and allowing them a week to fully recover is the most popular method for good reasons.
