It would help to see your SHBG, but your total is obviously wrong. I will guess the digits are wrong all together, you´re probably much higher.
But call your doc tomorrow and you´ll get it cleared up.
yes to convert ml to dl you would multiply by 100. which yes that puts your total T very low. Best thing would be that they supply a reference range because it isn't making much sense.
not enough lab work to see whats going on, but your test is definitely low for your age. but you need to do more tests to see why. read KelKel's thread regarding Finding Physician to learn what tests you need to run. also read the rest of the stickies to educate yourself and take that knowledge to your doc.
For what it's worth, the Total T reference range on my bloodwork from TriCore (.org) is 2.5 - 11.5 ng/mL.

Your SHBG would calculate out to be around 16 which is remarkably low. That being the case, your test level is fine.
OTOH the lab could have screwed up, so if you're feeling the effects of low test, might be worthwhile to get complete labwork including a full male hormone panel.

its not fine for 27 year old. his free T is slightly lower mid range which could be better, and his total is at the bottom.
^^^ His free is in the middle of the range which is fine. So I totally disagree.
glacierlakes, it's only the free that really matters as far as effect goes. If your SHBG is really that low, you have plenty of free IMO. Usually with
people having your low total test also have corresponding low free (because their SHBG is typically 2-3X higher than yours).
More importantly, with that level, there's no Doc that's going to do anything for you.
My suggestion is to get some more labwork because your fatigue, etc. could just as easily be a sign of thyroid/adrenal issues... again a better lab panel would tell.
Re Soymilk, broscience says it will affect your Test/Estro ratio, but I´ve never seen a study that has any evidence to that effect. I wouldn´t worry, unless u want to cut all milk altogether bc of sugar.

SHBG and Albumin are proteins in the blood that the majority of Testosterone basically binds to. What's not bound is called "free" test and is available for use. Only a very small percentage is "free" and with Ecd's calculation (no doubt correct) you're mid range. Total is not really important.
As stated above, get complete BW done including thyroid panels. Get copies yourself. Do not wait to hear from the doctor.

Thyroid looks OK... but hey, glacier, are we going to have to wait until the next ice-age for you to post other labs?
It really helps to see everything you have, bro.

Seeing that urologist is the best thing you can do at this point. I'm sure he/she will be looking at the LH/FSH feedback loop, and you can discuss your fertility ability at the same time. The doc might even order up a fertility test to see how many live ones and good swimmers you have. Keep us posted.
BTW ... Your Vitamin D is in the tank (like most of us here). Probably wouldn't hurt ramping that up. I just started taking 5,000 iu/day of the stuff in liquid form, and I've got to say that I'm real pleased. There's a good thread floating around about Vitamin D in this forum if you haven't seen it yet.
Your vitamin D is super low. Go outside more (best option) or take some vitamin d supplements.
Also, your free testosterone is rather normal.

that was answered in post 15. Take some time glacier and start reading the stickies. You will really learn alot there and it will help to bring you up to speed on things.

If your total is very low (yours is not very low) then total might be okay to "use" but otherwise, your free test and bioavailable test is more useful to figure out what's going on in your body.
Some people are the opposite of you, and have very very high total T but very low free T. They would need some sort of intervention.

That is exactly my situation. I'm was 723 on a 225-975 range, for Total, and only 7.9 on an 8.8-27 Free range. So making plenty testosteone, but symptoms of low T anyway.
I want to get my SHGB down to where glacierlakes has his.
glacier, quick question for you, how low is your bodyfat% ? On the lower end?
