new on here and looking for advice

I've been looking into trying a cycle of steroids . I've never done them and all I've seen have been the oral steroids that are advertised all over these sites. But after further research I've found most people view them as a ripoff. I'm 28 years old, 5'9" and about 208. I wanted to do a cutting cycle because my ideal body weight would be more around 170-175. I'm more or less looking to add lean muscle but drop lots of fat, I would just appreciate any help as to what would be good for me to start off with and whether oral or injections are better. Thank you all for your help.

    What's your bf?
    How long you been training?
    What's your diet like?

I honestly have no idea what my body fat is, but I'd have to guess it's 20+. I've been working out for close to 10 years now, but recently took some time off and now getting back into it. I stick to around a 1600-1800 calorie a day diet, trying to eat pretty balanced diet. I lift and run about 4-5 days a week.

You need to find out because 20% would be quite FAT. Do you have a good size spare tire? gut? man boobs? 1600-1800 calories is pretty low unless you are a couch potato and you say you are not.

I was about your size a few years ago. 5' 8" 205 - 210 lbs. What you need honestly to visit the diet section. The #1 most important thing I did was to change my eating habits. It's a lot easier than you think also. #1 learn to eat 6x a day at least. NO, protein drinks/shakes dont count. Real food. Also add more healthy foods and you will loose most all cravings for junk. Doing that alone combined with working out will do wonders.

You really dont want to consider doing any aas until you are down to a good/normal weight. Cutting cycle is not how it sounds. That is for people who are 10% bf or less and want to get down to 6% for contest, not us fatties who need to drop 30+ lbs. That is done with changing our poor habits.

In my experience when guys say they are 20% bf they are typically higher.

Diet, Diet, and Diet. If you lose the weight you will gain a great deal of nutrition knowledge. The kind of knowledge that is needed to execute a successful cycle. Good luck.

Oh I'm sure I'm higher. I do have the spare tire and man boobs. I stopped working out for 9 months and put on 30 pounds and have recently begun dieting and hitting the gym again. I know a lot of it is diet and will power to keep on the right path but I was also just looking to add to it as well.

OK but to be honest most people have no clue what dieting means. Most people think it means eating less, cutting calories. It's really about eating properly, not less. When I started eating 6x a day I ate more than I had prior and I lost weight, quickly. it's about learning some basics, what to eat and when to eat it. What you dont mix with what. How eating 6x a day and not getting hungry your body stops storing fat to burn later.

There is a lot of good information in the diet section. read the sticky notes to get an idea and read what other people are doing. This is 90% of the battle. No aas should be used until you are down under 15% at least. Better 12%

No matter what your goal is training and diet are the defining factors when it comes to your physique not what you pin. If you're serious about your goals get your diet down as it obviously is not as you rather overweight, a good diet will do much more for you than any kind of "supplement" stick to correct dieting and training for 12 months and you'll be amazed, maybe then re visit the idea of adding something into the mix, there is no miracle drug to take the hard work out for you if there was everyone would look good, and not be carrying " a spare tyre and tits"

Well I sincerely appreciate all of you help guys. I will first look into my dieting and figure out what I'm doing right and wrong there and adjust accordingly and I'll take your advice and wait until I get my bf% to a more reasonable level before I consider using any aas. Thank you once again.
