Wife says NO SEX until I get a vasectomy..

The wife is holding out on me and it's been about a month now. I didn't think she could do it but so far she seems serious. This blows. I don't mind getting one.. and I'll do it, but won't be done w/ my cycle til the end of May and don't want to do it beforehand.

Anyone get the big "V" done? How long before you can go full throttle in the gym?

She says she feels bloated and uncomfortable on the pill.. she took it for years. There were some other sides she got toward the end of the last time she was taking them as well but can't remember what they were. I seriously can't stand wearing rubbers.. takes so much away from it. We fooled around a little today and I thought I had her weakened but nope. So she'll still fool around and we'll get off or whatever, but no sex.

I'm 35, she just turned 36. So the thought of having another kid scares her to death (two kids 13 and 9 already)

Well its a fair enough concern of hers. And good that shes completely not holding back on sexual things, so it just maybe shes scared of another child.

Its crazy the things girls go through when on the pill. i dont think they really get told how much it can mess up their bodys, the same with us and AAS i guess.

Just get the vasectomy. I had one two years ago - you're in and out in 20 minutes. They give you an AWESOME anesthetic. I was out running 3 days later. Never used the Vicodin once.
You will have a dull soreness for several months, but it's nothing that will bother you.

Yup.. I think that's part of the thing honestly. I wouldn't mind having another but she is done. I've agreed to having it done and I will. She really is pushing me to do it NOW though.. and I don't want to do it just yet so her answer is no sex lol. I called my insurance company today to inquire and I'm covered. Looks like it will only cost about $3-4k total. Does that sound about right?
