PO Box mandatory?

When ordering from an online source is using a PO Box necessary? Cant I have it sent to my house or a friends?

I have a scenario for you guys......Say my sister signs for my package of goods would I still be held responsible for accepting the package? Is it true that if you dont open the box your safe from any legal actions??? Or is that just a rumor?

If you get busted, your busted. It doesn't matter who signs for it if it has your name on it and you paid for it. Aside from that, you can send it wherever you want.
