    I dont even have a high school diploma. Hell I never even finished my freshman year .

    Own a good sized construction company. Do work for some of the biggest home builders in the valley.

    Yes it is. If I had more faith in this being an option these days I would stop schooling as soon as possible.

    The problem is anyone can get a degree nowadays from one of the numerous "colleges" that have popped up. It makes a degree almost necessary to start a career.

    My father majored in Zoology simply because he liked animals and thought it would be easy. He has never worked with an animal a day in his life and is almost 60.

    Came out of college and got a job with a large lumber company with no experience. A few years later he was a district manager. Eventually he opened his own truss company then a window business. THe window business became a multi million dollar business until the economy tanked and he and his partner spent money without worry thinking it was just a phase. The business failed and five years later he is in and out of construction sales
