no problem, but here's my rebuttal:
however, there are many in America that feel we should not have access to guns. I would get in some long and frustrating conversations with "huggers" that feel just as strongly as I, but on the opposing side.
regarding transfer payments (3rd item down). there are many that feel it is our civic duty to help out those less fortunate than ourselves. I agree with this to a certain extent. However, where i disagree is that it shouldn't be FORCED on me. It should be a decision, not a requirement.
5th one down, seperation of church and state. I said STRICT seperation. No more "in god we trust", or any reference to a supreme being. no more putting your hand on the bible and being sworn in. No more "so help me god". No more evangelicals running the Republican party, who think they know better than the pregnant women that want to get an abortion. No more BS legislation prohibiting anyone from getting married (the republicans think gay marriages are a sin, and therefore feel they are smarter than the individual).
I feel alot of my beliefs fly in the face of one party or the other. I'd have to disagree with you that my beliefs are universal. You may believe them, but I'm feeling pretty confident there are many that would not agree with everything that I believe.
Just saying
