It's not an estrogen blocker; it's an Aromatase Inhibitor (antagonist) thus AI.

It competes with Testosterone at the receptor level on the aromatase enzyme thus slowing and preventing the conversion of Free Testosterone into estrogen.

Men on a cream or gel rarely need it do their protocol.

Many. not all, men who inject will need it at some point...
