Unfortunately, Mad Dog passed away soon after the movies release. Many of those who wish to promote the 'Evil Steroids' stigma have used him to counteract the influence of the documentary. Of course, typical to those trying to further their own personal agenda; they choose to omit Mad dogs unfortunate mental health issues, which led to the use and abuse of both pharmaceutical and street drugs, as well as alcohol in an attempt to deal with his personal demons. As the movie points out, we don't know what the long term effects are. There simply haven't been any studies. Of course many of the purported dangers of steroid use are gregariously false. The truth is this, everybody is built different. Our health is based on a myriad of factors, both environmental and genetic. What is bad for one person may not be so bad for another. In the end one quote does seem to stick with me: "Show me the bodies!"
