anyone self medicates high BP with meds?

I've been on BP meds for years runs in the family. Cant grasp the reason to not involve insurance, then why would you even have it?

The thing with genetic illnesses like high blood pressure is that they are (for the most part) here to stay. Whereas, a cold or flu is going to go away, high blood pressure will likely need to be regulated your whole life.

It's like having a speeding ticket on your record vs. having a DUI.

Your insurance company can raise your rates down the line, and if you change insurance companies, you will be charged higher rates to begin with.
