B12 is generally safe although there hasn't been enough studies to establish toxicities. There are however risk factors for sub populations:
    - After coronary stenting, vitamin B12 can increase rates of restenosis.
    - b12 may also raise BP in hypertensive patients.
    - in patients with GI distress, B12 can increase the incidence of nausea and diarrhea
    - in patients with pre-existing hematological issues, the hematopoietic nature of B12 can increase RBC and cause polycythemia vera
    - in patients with low potassium, B12 could lead to hypokalemia
    - patients susceptible to or having a hx of gout may experience an increased incidence of gout when using B12
