    It's one aspect of trying to lend assistance in this forum that kinda sucks...you think you have made an impact, maybe, in some cases, saved a life even and then they just disappear! There are a few that I seem to get attached to in a short amount of time and then poof!

    It's an unfortunate reality. Some will come here with a genuine interest to learn. Others come for affirmation of a piss-poor cycle that some friend, buddy, or supplier recommended. Others come here with the intent to learn and wait until they are "ready" only to lie about it because their real intent is to use no matter what (I've had that happen more than once with young guys seeking my advice).

    Im learning not to worry so much about it. Guys will come and go all the time. The ones most committed to success in the sport, will stick and hang around to learn.

    the one thing that sucks about the cool guys is over the years people that pass away or have a bad accident. you never hear from them again and yet you never know that something tragic happens, and in a few weeks people forget.
