Try to get too fancy or go overboard I have dealt with this for years except I had two quads stolen a few years ago.
Just go to Costco and buy 1 of those 8 camera systems with DVR. They are not hard to set up. You run the wires through your attic in bundle them all into 1 area running down the wall to where you want to keep your DVR recorder.
I have set up a couple systems now they're very easy. You can't even see it via Ethernet anytime you want to check. I also have 2 cameras inside the house set to record any motion and signal TV.
You can get 84 camera system on sale for under 300 dollars the eat camera system on sale for around 500 dollars or less. You will also get a discount on your home.
Way more every need so it's a little overkill but you get the idea. This 1 comes with camera but you can hook up you total of 600 - 700 dollars most of the time this is on sale minus anywhere from fifty two fifty dollars
