It sums things up for extemist gun owners perhaps...I don't see how this has any relevancy to those of us that enjoy hunting and collecting as a hobby!

So my AK47 is more deadly than my .308? Guns a guns a gun! I keep a 12 guage in my closet for home defense. I trust that to be more dealy than any of my assault rifles. Is it because they are black? if a guns a gun is a gun. Why make 100's of different kinds and everyone should be aloud to own any type. Give everyone a .22 then if a guns and guns a gun
and yes its cause they are black. I had this convo before. I think all guns should be bedazzled. Guys wont feel like such bad ass pulling them out trying to scare people

I am fkn surgical with my .22 rifle and pistols. A.22 pistol has been the prefered weapon of mob hit men for years. More ppl are killed with good old fashioned hunting rifles and shotguns than are with ominous looking assault rifles!if a guns a gun is a gun. as far as the hunting and shot guns killing more. Do you think its just a numbers thing? That more people own them so thats what makes the numbers higher?

I would assume so. Out of the households that own guns, probably 99% have a shotgun or deer rifle.yes i know that fact about the Mob

It is exactly what it is. More housholds throughout the US own a shotgun or rifle typicaly used for hunting (non assault rifle type) and therfore more violent gun crimes are committed with these types of guns. Yes you see the school shootings and the Dade County shootout and the California Bank robbery shootout but you DON't see all of the domestic violence involving "normal" guns that occur daily.yes i know that fact about the Mob

You really can't blame a particular gun for being more dangerous than another simply because it has a title "assualt rifle". They are indeed used by oppurtunistic criminals and violent offenders...but I'm not sure banning a certain type or even banning them all together would lower our violent crime rate in the us ...the issue is bigger than things thatb go bang!

There isn't a lot of things one can do that is more fun shooting a .22 with friends. Its a BLAST! Bring out the big stuff at the end of the day. Great fun.

The problem with MORE gun legislastion is it really does basically effect law abiding citizens. Criminals or peeps with big rap sheets won't give a shit if they get another ding on their record for handgun.
