I dont think you are paranoid leather daddy, last time I saw you I was thinking your hair did look a bit thinner on top and I saw a little bit of shine from the back but maybe you had just not washed it for a day or two??? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though and a couple of our mutual friends who also have mentioned it say it's not to bad so no worries.
