dan u sure are good at saying stuff to get reactions outta people arent u! (myself included)
let me try to be dan for a minute:
shit i have a 6 pack right now and im 25%bf! i never have to do crunches to keep my abs. i just finished eating 6 mcrib sandwiches and am about to have a bowl of ice cream. all you guys on this forum are a bunch of liars and losers! yall fVcking stupid if u think you cant have abs at 25% body fat!
even arnold schwarzeneggar never got below 10% body fat he just didnt have as many fat cells as yall do because he watched what he ate when he was a kid!
the best way to tell what your true body fat percentage is is to measure the circumference of ur dick and multiply it by 2.375!!
yall are all stupid and im the only smart guy on here! the next time anyone wants to know anything about anything just ask me.. dammit!![]()
Wait 405... you aren't pissy because you just got back from the gym and did that ab routine and it hurt are you?
i think the biggest prob i have is how people that have really good abs look like theyre flexing all the time and i cant figure out how they do that! but at least now i know thats what the problem is.. i used to think it was because their bf% was really low but im starting to think theres more to it than that. like the transversus abdominis.
those deep separations between the muscles that are there all the time
LOL.. i didnt have time dude i did legs tonite and only had about 40minutes! it was a stretch to get in what i did! gonna have to work on time management.. maybe buy the things to hang at the house and do my abs in the man cave 3 nites a week.. kinda what im thinking
id also like to note i worked last nite from 1900 - 0500 this am and was up at 0900 and back to work at 1300 and im still here til 0000! think im doing pretty good on 3 hrs sleep!
oh and i have to be back tomorrow at 0700..
Yea- flexing ab muscles is difficult without having strong transversus. You can also suck in your stomach, hold for 30 seconds, and do a bunch of reps when doing pretty much anything. That will also work them but it doesn't give the same amount of tension on the muscles as the hanging exercises. The deep separation will be there when you have both transversus and rectus in shape as they sit on top of each other so it looks a lot deeper especially when you have a little tan going on.
upon further reflection maybe we should continue this discussion out of this thread.. sorry guys!

Dan I have to say 100reps of anything is beast... I can't remember the last time I did 6. I want to start a ab workout for my prefontest. You have anything a little less crazy. I don't usually train abs bc they get huge and just make me look fatter... Is fatter a word??? Whatever you get the pointOriginally Posted by --->>405<<---
Same routine- less reps. I do 100 bc for 2 years I've been doing it. I started with 3 reps, then 5, etc. Focus on form and concentrate on core while making sure you're not swinging in the hanging exercises. Doing 100 shit reps that are 90% cheating and 10% focused is garbage. Focus on keeping the strain on your abs and isolation- the rest will come with time. Don't train abs with weights- you'll end up looking bloated.

I'm just sayin
The term "Napoleon complex" has been used in scientific research on the phenomenon of smaller organisms acting aggressively towards larger organisms. In contrast to the many examples of larger organisms acting aggressively towards smaller organisms in the animal kingdom, some studies of aggressive behavior in organisms have detected cases where smaller individuals initiate aggression.[10] A 1995 study of contests between males in the swordtail fish species Xiphophorus nigrensis and Xiphophorus multilineatus found that 78 % of observed fights were initiated by the smaller fish, and in 70 % of fights the fish that delivered the first bite lost the conflict.[11] From an evolutionary perspective, this "Napoleon complex" behavior seems irrational.[10]
Posited explanations include an asymmetry in the value of the contested resource to the two combatants (the individual with lower resource holding potential may attack first if the value of the resource is greater for him), a misconception on the part of the weaker organism about his own strength, and the "Desperado Effect", where omega males attack because they have no other opportunities to gain resources.[12]
Ohio University researchers have suggested another explanation, that the stronger contestant benefits from delaying escalating a display to a fight, "leaving the initiative to the opponent and hoping for him to retreat, either because of realistic perception of his chances to win the fight or by mistake. [...] our proposed explanation for what is commonly considered the 'Napoleon Complex' might be appropriately identified as the 'Gentle Giant Syndrome.'"[13]
Hey guys. This thread is so far off track from its original intent. Thinking misery deserves to have this thread back for its original purpose and perhaps an apology.
GGR and Capebuffalo thank you.
Dan if you want attention go hang out at the Blue Oyster Bar or start your own thread.
So end it here then. Seriously. You seem to have a ton of interesting info on ab work and fat cells that guys seem interested in. Please just start a new thread on it. I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses and the thread could be useful. This is Misery's thread and it's way off point.
sorry misery!![]()
Thank you Dan.
So what cycle you thinking so far??....
