    My blood results prolactin high.....

Hey chaps just left the doctors he gave me a print out of my blood results. I dont really no what these numbers mean but i will post them below. He said my prolactin and cortisol is very high i told him im about 2 months since my cycle ended. He said he has never herd of steroids increasing prolactin but everything i read on here says it does. He said the high prolaction could be some sort of tumor releasing alot of prolactin in my brain. I asked him for caber and he said no way he wants me to get some sort of xray scan pituitary? Im 24 year old male 185cm about 95kg bf is around 12%. Advice me what to do? especialy from doctor musscle ink.
It just does not make sense to me tho i can still get erections so maybe the prolactin test was ****ed up some how?

Did you cycle with either tren or deca?

You'll need to get your hands or either dostinex or prami if you want to lower prolactin levels.

It very well is possible for Testosterone to increase prolactin as we'll in some users that are particularly sensitive to it. As bigp said, you will need a prolactin antagonist such as Cabergoline or Pramipexole.

B6 has also been proven to lower prolactin, I'd recommend 200mg 2x per day.

Ive never run a 19nor 5 cycles just with test. But will the prolactin lower its self to normal levels or will it just stay high if i do nothing about it. Why do i not have ed if my prolactin is high?

The doctor is getting you a CT scan because he wants to check for the possibility of a pituitary tumor, which is a prime cause for elevated prolactin levels in people. If you have a pituitary tumor then the Prolactin levels will NOT go down. Even if that was not the case, why would you want to leave something like this untreated? Of you had a major mechanical problem with your car, would you frigging leave it alone in the hopes it would 'go away' naturally??? NO!!! Why have this attitude with the human body then?! Get yourself some Cabergoline for Christ sake.

Ok mate you make alot of sense. Ok so should i still get the scan just to see if it is a tumor?? My guy can only get prami will that work just as good? Can you tell me why i dont have ed? I thought prolactin controls ed?

Yes, still go for the CT scan just to make sure.

Pramipexole will work just as well.

Prolactin DOES NOT 'CONTROL' ED. It is very possible for individuals to exhibit high(er) prolactin without succumbing to ED or anorgasmia. Most will, however.

Ok thank you very much friend. I had gyno surgery 3 weeks ago. Im thinking now the high prolactin caused the gyno?

No, Prolactin cannot cause gyno without the appropriate mechanisms of Estrogen present. Prolactin can make the nipples lactate.

Also, do not begin taking anything for Prolactin until you have gone for the CT scan to determine if you have a pituitary tumor. Listen to your doctor.

Ok will do thank you. If it is a tumor what will the doctor do to get rid of it?

You can't get rid of it. The typical treatment is to actually prescribe you Cabergoline to inhibit Prolactin secretion for the rest of your life. I don't know too much about pituitary tumors and the other treatments, but we have a member here, his name is kelkel and he has a pituitary tumor. You can PM him and ask him any questions you might have about it and how he has dealt with his.

With something like this, this board is not the place to be asking advice (though some people here might actually know more than your doc about prolactin and steroids).

Definitely get the scan done mate. This could be a serious issue completely unrelated from your cycle history. Even if you had used a 19 nor, prolactin shouldn't be high 2 months after it ended. Your body is unable to reach homeostasis...this is bad...I am surprised your Doc hasn't already put you on Vitamin B6, at least till the scan.

    Correct.

Listen to everything mutton chop said. Too many people come here on these forums looking for info and advice on a condition that only proper medical testing can answer. Your condition has exhibited odd behavior to only be regarded as a simple Prolactin increase from AAS use. It is sounding more and more like a Pituitary tumor or endocrine problem.
