    Ephedrine is a beta receptor anagonist, meaning that it mimics the effect of epinephrine. This is what gives it its fat burning qualities. At a certain point, your body deactivates those receptors in response to the constant binding and, at that point, it is no longer affecting you physiologically. As such, it doesn't continue to burn fat.

    Your bodies Beta2s upregulate a lot quicker than originally thought. Studies have shown a snowball effect in terms of the effectiveness of ECA's fat burning properties the longer one stays on...Caffeine is the ingredient recommended to cycle off due to your bodies adaption to its stim effects.
