    Awesome, thanks for the advice guys. I'll eat more before my next workout session and try to get some fruit or other simple carbs right before I hit the gym.

    us old timers, what we used to do?

    it's called the honey trick. when you are doing some very intensive routines, to keep from being depleted, some of us would bring a honey bottle to suck on. you don't need much. but it really works.

    nowadays, there is a long list of reasons NOT to do this. But we were too stupid back in the day to not know NOT to do it. All we knew was that it did work.
