    GSP vs Diaz. Who wins?

Curious as to who some of you mma gurus think will take this one. I sure hope St. Pierre cleans yhe floor with Diaz. Robbie Lawler getting beat by Nick ruined Nicks reputation. Anyways, what do you guys think?

I sure hope so. I know he has more skill, no doubt about that. I just hope he is at full health because he should walk through him if so.
By the way, what do I need to do to get GSPs legs? Those things are awesome!

Well I'd consider that Diaz is a very skilled fighter and blackbelt in Gracie jj. GSP has his work cut out but should come out with the W.

As for the legs, let me know if you find out. They're monstrous and his shoulders too!

hopefully GSP but im tired of both of them.really....takin the lesser of two evils in this one....however I can see Diaz's reach being a problem....
on a sidenote now the Weidman finally gets his well derserved title shot at Silva....I think his reign will soon be over

If you're saying Anderson Silva is going to lose one day, I'm sorry but you're wrong... He was born to fight and win.

Ha! Good idea. I try with squats. I do them once or twice weekly. Weight isn't very much but us a challenge.
But look at GSPs calves even. They're huge! My gym don't have anything for calves so I just use leg press and press with my toes.
Good Luck, I'm not saying Diaz doesmt have skill, but he is no where near the athlete St. Pierre. He isn't nearly as agile or strong. GSP should beat the dog crap out of him, but with mma, anything can happen. Ill bet dan36297 whatever can give a definite answer right now.

true.... but this kid Chris Weidman is for real....think of when Jon Jones came in at that time Machida was champ then Shogun beat him and look at what Jones did to both of them....Weidman has been on a tear and all reigns must come to an end....
    ps....didnt want to derail thread....sorry

    GSP for the win ;-)

He just has so much more ring experience. And title fight experience. 5 rounds.

Actually Diaz was fighting a little bit earlier than GSP(at least pro) although I agree GSP has more title fight experience

I don't think we are comparing apples and apples. More like apples and rocks. Anderson silva has yet to lose (in ufc) and beyond that, he has owned his division since he showed up. IMO, both GSP and silva could retire now with full honor. Nothing left to prove IMHO. maybe tonight that will change.

dont get me wrong Silva is a beast....I mean he has had the title for what 7-8 years....and I do like Silva but its just somethin about Weidman that makes him a force to be reckoned with....Silva is a blackbelt but is very vulnerable at being taken down and off his back hes not too offensive with attacks....not only does Weidman have the power to knockout anyone in his division his takedowns are good too....I mean look at how easily he took down Mark Munoz and he was a D1 champ

I think GSP first pro fight 2002. Nate 2004. Either way. Nates brother would have been before. What the hell is his name. Damn.

I'm sick of watching GSP do the minimum requirement to win a fight by decision. Diaz has crazy skills and could have been GSPs greatest opponent ever, but Diaz refuses to apply himself fully.

Is it just me or does Diaz look like he has nothing behind his strikes? I've always thought this. I know he has his fair share of knockouts, but his punches just seem slow and weak. I'd probably be saying different if I was on the recieving end though.

It's not always his power... It's his ability to throw dozens at range and his accuracy it pinpoint. He will keep tapping your eyes so you lose depth and then the heavy strikes come. He made a joke of Paul Daley who is a monster puncher

I didn't see it. But if it went to decision I would guess a call down was made so tht Jonny was winner. Nobody wants to see a rematch.
