I agree! The problem is people like to overcomplicate an otherwise relatively simple concept (dieting) by focusing on these tiny, negligible little factors instead of just focusing on the actual task at hand (being consistent, disciplined, etc.). More often than not, when asked to explain the advice/info they're giving, they can't, because they don't know the answer(s). They're just regurgitating shit that was probably half bs to begin with, and they likely misinterpreted most of it on top of that.
