    Rubber stopper flake

There is a small flake of my rubber stopper floating in my gear. Is it safe to use still or is it likely there are smaller flakes I cant see and will most likely unknowingly inject?

I assume I just poked the same spot to many times.

If you can see it you should be able to avoid it. I've had that happen a couple of times. The ones I've had were actually too big to get pulled into the pin anyway.

If it makes you feel better use a small g pin like a 25g or higher it will take longer but theres no rush. Or you could transfer it in to a new vial you better watch you don't lose your oil if it's a big bit missing lol.
