Can you work out the macro's and calories on that list please?

Most of us here need to count calories and macro's to make specific changes to our body composition. If we look at your wife's specific stats then it looks like her Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is approximately 1600cals. This is how many calories it SHOULD take to keep her weight steady. Obviously a reduction in these calories would normally equal weight loss. A recommended macro split for weight loss is 50/30/20 (protein/carbs/fat). I would say that the diet listed doesn't meet those figures but I would be interested to see.

Any thermogenic that she would use in lieu of changes of diet would only have a temporary effect (provided it worked at all) and as soon as she ceased use she would regain her weight if she was still eating the same amount of food.
