I got a simple test only test and it came back 308, the range for me is 200-600, many have said that is pretty low. Placed a request into my Dr to talk about it & TRT if necessary. What are some of the things I should ask, bring up? Ive done some research but I would like to get some advise from people who have went through it. Thanks

To start, you need more blood work. I would request that the doc get more blood work done so that you can get to the root of the issue. That's an odd range, but based on that range and your age, it's not terrible. A good list of blood work is posted in the http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...physician.html sticky. Include DHEA-S. Thyroid panel is crucial.

You certainly should not jump on TRT before finding the root cause.

what measurement was your test in? The ranges vary a lot but it's the measurement that counts..if it was in ng/dl that range is crap

Dr. called, said it was my lucky day because he had a meeting/training session with an endocronologist earlier. Said that my T was low for my age and that he wanted me to do a fasting blood panel (which I did today) of which sounded like a sh*t load of things, free test, blah blah follicle, full hormone ect. He said that if its simply low we'll look at options, but if it's really whacky we'll get hooked up with the endo doc. and see what they say. My dr is cool, he's the type that if he doesn't know he'll call the expert, sometimes right there in the room. So I THINK I'm off in the right direction.

I explained to my doc i was always lethargic, crying for no reason, anger outbursts and a few ither items associated with low t... He said lets give it a go and 3-4 months later im now up to 100 mlg a week and feelig awesome! He wants to get mine levels up to around 800 and said this amount may bring me up there and if not we will slowly bump it until u get as close as possisble as long as there are no ill effects within me
