Shoulders today, usually have a day off between back and shoulders but this weeks work schedule messed that up. My lats are very sore from yesterday. Was gonna try 90# db press but might have to wait until next week

Welcome my son to the dark side, the very dark side

True failure, always remember not that pu$$y failure everyone else stops at - come on GB

I know we have talked GB and all I am saying is your going to experience some of the best gains you have ever had - simple as that

In want you to report your progress in here, how you feel, how the workout went and if you feel any movement

There is a whole routine a few pages back but if you want to get a proper feel of how I go about HIT just read from page one there is vital information all over the place and the only way to soak it all in is to read the whole thread

Yes sir... that's why I'll be doing a feeler week next week... I plan to see what I'm made of, and then BEAT THAT the following week when I really start.

I will either be running your routine (minus the 'beyond failure' techniques, as we discussed) which is 5 days/week, or the DC routine which is 3 days/week. I may be better off starting with DC and saving your's for the fall 'bulk' as originally planned. In either case, I'll be training HIT and DC is no easy routine either!

I can't wait Marcus! I'm really hoping I explode... I'm sick of being stuck within the same weight range more or less, and my body looking the same, just fatter or leaner depending on what I'm doing. I've hardly increased muscle mass over the past 2 years and that pisses me off. I plan to bring that anger to my training.

I use to hate being stuck at a brick wall with my gains, that's why I changed my whole diet and training approach and ive never not gone forward each year. I did have around 4 yrs off steroids when I started trt and those days I dint go forward took me all my time to maintain but now even with 1 or 2 cycles per yr of moderate dose I gain and don't forget I am a old cvnt, a right cvnt at that

All you got to do is find what works for you GB, once you do and you make progress you can adapt and design the whole perfect package for achieving your goals.

    Best of luck

HIT works for everyone. If you are doing it right and using strict form and total total failure routine. I believe rest and diet is what will determine are gains.

3 weeks down, the first 1 1/2 weeks diet wasn't on par. Second half diet has been good and sleeping more and seeing the results already from just those little changes.

Its been killing me.. I climb a lot of ladders and stairs at work.. I feel like a 90 year old walking up a set of stairs. And ladders are just all kinds of f%$ked up. I carry about 10-15kg worth of tools with me. I also have to allow an extra 5-10 min for my warm up runs at kickboxing now.

    Marcus... Thank you haha

Well "Killed" back and shoulders today:

Old fashion T-Bars with olympic bar shoved in corner (best way to do them, IMO): Warm ups followed with two working. Drop set on last. Dropped a nut on the drop I think.

Bent over's. One warm up cause if your back ain't warm from T-bars just quit. One working set, max weight with double drop.

35 degree supported row. Basically I slide an incline bench into a smith machine with the top of the pad just over the line of the bar. Works great. Gotta improvise at home. One set with rest-pause.

Front pull downs. No warm up. One straight set, one double drop.

Shrugs: Two sets. One rest-pause on each.

    *************

    Shoulders:

Lateral raises: warm ups and three heavy sets with a drop on the last. Felt awesome today doing these so I did an extra set. Shoot me.

Front presses: Two warm ups and two working with drop on last followed by rest pause as I couldn't effectively reduce the weight.

Bent laterals on incline: Two working sets, max weight.

Good one today going into the weekend. Especially shoulders. Best feel I've had in them in a while with laterals and I don't really know why. Been doing them first lately to rest up my shoulder from a bit of irritation.

Took about 40 minutes or so.

That's all it takes DCI. You know it's not how much you do just how effective you are with "what" you do. I train alone in my basement so I've got no one to talk to or distract me. I'm also an "impatient" lifter and train quickly anyway. Then add this style high intensity training and it's sort of a hat-trick for me I guess when it comes to efficiency.

Ya it was hard to snap one by myself. Lifting partner bailed.
I will get a double bi when I figure out how to dot out my face I am rarely on the comp. Always from my phone.

Nice job Kel, i'd find it hard to do delts and back in one hit but sounded like no trouble for you. We need to work out together because we are so on the same road
Do you think ive let the secret out? or shall we hold some of it back
