    sandals resorts anyone?

So been looking into honeymoons recently and most likely will be doing an all inclusive resort. Anyone have any experience with these? And any suggestions on where if you have been.

Thinking st. Lucia right now. Probably staying around that area or maybe even south America.

DON'T!!!!!! I used sandals for my honeymoon in curaçao..... The resort sucked asshole. Booked a suite and got a small ass room. It took 3 days after complaining to get a suite. The pools are dirty as shit with hair floating everywhere. The food selection was small..... They advertised 5 eating establishments but only 2 were open at any given time.

    Sandals sucks......

I liked Iberostar Gran Hotel Bavaro in Punta Cana. Everything was included and everything was top notch. No kids allowed.

Never been to any sandals resorts but the most beautiful and romantic place in the world is the Maldives. It's stunning and 5 star all the way.

We are looking at sandals cause its so commericalized here in the states. I know u love maldives ive seen some pics u have posted. But probably out of our price range.

And after what Haz said, he has me thinking twice about sandals now. Thanks haz and thats why I came here to ask, lots of people from every part of the world. so I get everyones opinion.

That was just my experience. I'll never goto another sandals again. I can't speak for all of their resorts tho.

They claimed to have an outdoor faux ice rink, free trapeze lessons, a rock wall.....

What they really had was a run down faux ice rink with plywood showing and it wasn't usable, the trapeze location was shutdown the entire time except for when they had a 10 minute show, and the rock wall was for ages 16 and under and closed most of the time.

Literally the best part of the whole trip was going downtown and away from the resort lol.

I do recommend Aruba tho..... I stayed at the holiday inn right after natalie halloway was taken..... Even though it was bad timing - it was a great trip. It was all inclusive, they have an excellent strip on the beach connecting all the hotels. Their food was great and the rooms were clean and what I expected.

Lmao not at all haha. The travel agent called the resort and bitched them out..... That's how we got the correct room.

I was so pissed that I wouldn't let anyone touch my bags. I just packed everything up and said I'm waiting in the lobby until my room is ready and then I brought the bags myself

The Sandals in Jamaica "appears gorgeous" although we always stay somewhere else that is cheaper.

Bermuda is absolutely gorgeous and very close by. You'd want to go spring, summer or fall though, not winter. Crystal clear water, beautiful beaches and most of all very safe. Been there 3 times. I'd either do that or an all inclusive in Cancun or similar.

We picked st lucia, because what's outside the resort, the mountains, natural springs, seems more scenic

Awesome going to go check it out.

Curious anyone ever use Groupon getaways? Seems too cheap to be true. 12 days to maldives with air fare is 2200 riggt now.
