some interesting results..and what do you know? my igf1 is high take that ryanmcd ....my fsh is still really low though why is that?
any thoughts on my thyroid? my tsh came back highest it's ever been...but t3 and t4 look alright? cholesterol dropped 4 points ldl dropped 3 but hdl went down.
    igf-1

    insulin-like growth factor i 163 83-344 ng/mL
sex horm binding glob, serum 26.9 16.5-55.9 nmol/L

    cortisol 33.1 2.3-19.4 ug/dL
testosterone, serum 631 348-1197 ng/dL....so my t went up but still didnt go crazy high like a lot of people's does on clomid, plus my e2 went up from 9 and 14(on hcg) to 31...i honestly felt no different.
    triiodothyronine,free,serum 3.6 2.0-4.4 pg/mL
    t4,free(direct) 1.25 0.82-1.77 ng/dL
    tsh 5.910 0.450-4.500 uIU/mL

    hdl cholesterol 45 >39 mg/dL
    triglycerides 97 0-114 mg/dL
    cholesterol, total 216 100-189 mg/dL

i think ill refill the clomid one more time and see how i feel. i stopped taking it after one week, but ill try it out m w f at 25 mg like shippen said...idk why it raised my tsh though.

shippen didnt even order tsh until i called and complained....so dont know how helpful he will really be. thyroid meds supposedly bound testosterone up anyway, so i prob will need to be on something for testosterone anyway. idont think my free t3 or free t4 or that bad though.
my cortisol has always been high so maybe my adrenals are shot too
i think im a lost cause might as well just shoot up t and relieve symptoms.
im gonna refill the clomid though.

Not sure what you are saying here but thyroid meds do not bind up testosterone.

I agree with Bass in that your thyroid could be behind your problems.
I would get tested for Hashimoto's disease if I were you.

Just give it time man, you have prob been screwed up for years and it may take several months to get fixed, small price to pay for 40 years of good health later on. Again relax and at least you are figuring out what is wrong and he's working with you so your on the right track.

No one mentioned low E so this post is pointless, you think? And the difference between this board and the majority of others is knowledge. So you can say E is overblown or you can do some homework and you would know how important E is and why the majority on this board try to get it in optimal range and are concerned when it's too high/low.

Well no shit. His E pre chlomid is pretty godamn low. 31 isn't anything to worried about. He stated himself he was worried about his E . Some people on this board go apeshit over E even when its in normal range.

Also you have to remember power is a number chaser, he can just let the doc do his work and see how he feels best. Then once you feel good you see what your #s are.

Your opinion is important but if it is opinion, you should say so. It would also be more useful to us all if you spoke up when you saw an inaccurate post, or a post you feel is misleading. We could all benefit. Using terms like "overblown" and "some people" does no one any good because there are no points of reference.

I figured all the posts about people crashing there E with arimidex kinda supported that fact. And we all know here that low E has negative effects on your body. He brought up a fact about his estrogen and I responded. Sorry

not worried just saying my t to e ratio didnt go up that much..and my shbg went from 23.5 to 26.5 so idk if my free t is any better.

On a side note, is sensitive E tests the equivalent of free t tests?

no, the e2 sensitive test is equal to the testosterone total test for women, children, and hypogonadal males..just a more sensitive test.

I would rather have a E of 50 then of 3. When I started TRT someone said make sure you take a AI and I did, my E2 was at *3* I felt like shit, could not have sex, and everything was sore. I will take a high E over a low E ANYDAY and if anyone says different they have not crashed out E2 before.

Hell I would rather have a test lvl of 0 then E2 being 0.

I'm going to try and manage it that first before I try the AI. The specialist actually asked me today about the poll and if I have gotten it. I said no, and I will keep on with the zinc, copper, DIM synergy until I receive my first BW in 4 weeks

    Power,
You're far from a lost cause. You're 24 and have the whole world to discover and find meaning in. That's what we were born for. You have so many wonderful opportunities ahead of you, it's unimaginable. Technology is advancing at break neck speeds and we just don't know what advances in medicine and in science there will be just around the corner. Imagine in ten years. No, five years!

Once upon a time, people died from diseases, we don't even hear about anymore - because we've conquered them! We all are on the cusp of a scientific and medical revolution. Think about stem cell research. Can you imagine growing new adrenals, a new pituitary, a new pair of balls! We're almost there.

Sit tight and enjoy the ride.

deadlifting dogl people on the nelson viergel fb page were saying t3 or t4 r a combo could bind t up to basically unusable amounts. they also said t3 or r4 destroys muscle......all not good things.

T4 and T3 naturally occur in the body and do not bind to testosterone.
However if one were to take too much T4 or T3 they would in essence suffer from hyperthyroidism. The muscle wasting that would result is caused by too fast a metabolism, not a loss of testosterone.

i still dont want muscle wasting....so it seems treating my possible hypothyroidism could cause its own bad effects. i have a hard enough time gaining muscle to begin with

btw any thoughts on my free t4 and free t3 i posted a few posts above, and also if clomid messed my tsh up would it be temporary?

On a side note Bass, I find it funny I mangled the word typing.

dog, i showed your posts to one of the females on the trt board, and she had this to say

They do naturally occur in the body and for normal people without thyroid or low test problems their body is producing them on its own and converting but when you add t3 you are adding something your body isn't making. Test gets lowered. The way to fix it is just increase your dosage of test. It may be way higher than the person with no thyroid issues.
This dude answer probably doesn't have a thyroid issue

    I disagree.
By this "female on a TRT board"'s logic: the millions of people worldwide who are taking a T4/T3 combo or dissected pigs thyroid such as Armour all have lowered testosterone and thus need to also take testosterone meds.
Also, someone on TRT without HCG doesn't produce testosterone so how can taking T3 cause them to produce less of something they aren't producing.
And if someone is taking HCG and thus producing testosterone how exactly would the T3 interfere?

Is this female on a TRT board someone who posts on a forum?

Also you quote "if you are adding something your body isn't making... Test gets lowered." Well if I drink water or eat food does my test gets lowered? How about a vitamin? Or Clomid? Or HCG?

I would need to understand at least some reason why bringing someone to healthy T4/T3 levels would lower test.
I still believe that excessive T4/T3 levels cause muscle wasting through weight loss caused by increased metabolism.

my tsh is high but dont my free t3 and free t4 lookalright?

    triiodothyronine,free,serum 3.6 2.0-4.4 pg/mL

Hey power, you pre chlomid estrogen levels were low.your in a good spot at 30. One of my tests results a while ago when I felt my best shade my test in the 1200's and my Sensitive estrogen was close to 60 with 42 the top end. I don't know man. This shit is just hard to figure out

as luck would have it, my beard growth has increased lately(im talking about before i started clomid even)...and one of my symptoms in my letter was poor beard growth lol.
i wonder if im still in puberty...ive noticed slight chest hair growth too.
even think i grew some centimeters or a half inch...but who knows..i was 6'1.5 in highschool at like 16 so ive always been tall.
