Ramy lacks muscle maturity. he built that muscle very fast, you will be able to see it.

Kai looks amazing but he just looks too big and his waste is huge. My vote is Phil Dennis Kai. Disappointed jay didn't place but it was clear he wasn't as ready as he thought he was

He has bad symmetry. Could be genetics, may not be his fault but look at his left bicep vs right, left tricep vs right, right calf vs left. Lats too. One side is bigger than the other. With the calves and triceps it looks structural to me. One is structured completely different than the other. The bicep and lays he can probably balance but you can't do anything about structural differences if theyre pronounced. Lyle Lovett syndrome.

Whoa. I've never seen jay looking so heavy. He's got a double chin there! He must be good at hiding from photographers in the offseason. With injury and rehab and no other contests for the whole year I get why he bulked hard like that but I wouldn't have recognized him right away if you hadn't said who it was.

Do you guys think Cutler really put in more than 10 weeks of training in for that?

I can't believe branch made top 10 and ramy placed alot lower than many thought he would but I guess that is because of the muscle not being as mature?

Seeing these guys all standing next to each other changed the perspective for me. Cutler didn't have the mass I thought he had earlier this week. pictured by himself he looked great. Standing next to phil and kai, he didn't look so good. Not bad, but out massed and out conditioned by the greatness surrounding him. KaI is massive but not nearly as aesthetic as Heath. When phil and kai were asked to stand side by side.the winner was clear. I've never seen any olympia carry the mass he does and still look aesthetically aligned. He has the v taper and everything proportioned correctly.

That was really cool seeing the top 10 go into the crowd lol. Those guys are bigger than life but you can't tell when its just them together in a room. When a normal sized person stands next to an olympia finalist you get a whole new perspective. I'm glad to see that the prize money is finally getting to a respectable level too although I'd like to see the top 10 all get over 50k and mr o get 1m. That would be more in line with how hard these guys work.

    Congrats phil.

I agree. Its always a huge risk not choosing your retirement timing properly. He's got to give it another shot now or go out with this 6th place finish. Like it or not, its what people will remember in 20 years when they think about him. Not so much that he was a 4x Olympia, but that he didn't go out on top. That's me anyways. I couldn't let this sleeping dog lie. No way.

I think so. Still too soft but its his debut. We will see great things from him in years to come.

Branch looked great. he has built more muscle then most of the guys on that stage, he's physique holds him back.

It's hard for a 5'8" guy to hold 250lbs and not look like a brick.

Phil looked awesome. Kai was a fair placing and dennis wolf definitely deserved 3rd. After I saw Kai I knew the outcome.

I think people are just really into Phils look. It isnt exactly like any other bodybuilder of the past. His muscles almost are bubbles the stick out so much. Kai was looking drier and I thought he looked insane. Its Phils new look and waist that made him win. People were saying in prejudging Phil looked way better than kai but in the finals Kai looked better than Phil. I think its Phils waist that one it. The post show commentary was awesome hahah. LOVE RONNIE!!!

This may sound weird I dont think he came in trying to win at all. He just wanted to be there cause he loves the sport so much. Obviously he wants to make money but he knew he wasn't going to be top 3.

of course he new he wouldn't win with only 10 weeks training but he has to start again somewhere. Injuries suck and it will be interesting to see what direction he goes from here

I have a to agree. Jay knows he was not in his best shape. these guys are so meticulous with there bodies cause they have to be. I did love that jay was there regardless of the outcome.

    Kai GH gut was hideous..
