Need help with my hormone replacement therapy

I am 28 years old 5'11'' 180 lbs and i have low testosterone so my dr. just prescribed me 1 ML of testosterone enanthate every week in injection form. he also prescribed me 50 mg of Clomid twice a week.

I work out 5 days a week and am in good shape, pretty ripped.

Some of the guys at the gym said i should be taking Exemestane (25mg x 30ml) (full droppler or 1/2 droppler) every night before bed.

What are you suggestions ?

Doctor also said he might put me on hcg but not unitl i go back to see him in 6 weeks.

Is there anything else i should be taking ? i don't want to get bloated and fat and lose my abs

this protocol is horrible, why would he prescribe you clomid and test is beyond me and you need hcg, 6 weeks will be enough for your testicles to atrophy. why allow damage to your balls then try to fix with hcg when you can just avoid the problem to begin with. if the exem. is dosed properly 25 mg will probably be too much for just 200 mgs of test I presume, try half of even a fourth of a ml and work up from there. better to have too little and need more then to have too much of that stuff.

thanks for the reply, yeah im new to all this so i have no clue as to what or why he prescribed.

so ill talk to him about the hcg but in the meantime should i take both the clomid (twice a week) and about a fourth to a half of the exem (every night) ??

If your injecting at home I'd go with 50mg twice per week. Most do not need 200mg. It's high end and just begging for E2 issues. Start low and hopefully avoid an AI altogether.
Forget the clomid like Rotty said.
It's ok to add in HCG a bit later. As long as you do! One addition at a time is fine.

If dosed at 200mg per ml then .5 is 100mg. You want a quarter ml for 50mg.

What is E2 issues ?

Test does a couple things. It turns to DHT everywhere in the body except skeletal muscle. It also aromatizes via the 5-AR enzyme which lives in the skin, especially the abdomen. Aromatizes means turns to estrogen. We need estrogen to function but it needs to be controlled. Normally a recommended range is 20-30 but it's subjective to the individual. If E2 gets to high or low you can have issues such as loss of libido, joint pain etc.
The more test injected at one time = more possible conversion to Estrogen. Therefore less injected at one time = less E2 conversion. This is where the twice weekly protocol helps.

What is the clomid suppose to do anyways ?

It's a SERM. Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. In short it will stimulate LH production at the pituitary level.

What does the Exemestane do ?

It's an aromatase inhibitor. It helps to control your estrogen. Anastrozole is more commonly used.

I read the stickies and i am still having a hard time understanding if i should take the clomid and the Exemestane or jut the clomid.

why are you on trt? is it just to be ripped? dont take an e2 blocker unless blood work calls for it.

Why shouldn't i take e2 blockers, i haven't had my e2 levels tested but ever since i started the TRT about a month in i started feeling sensitive nipples and also feeling bloated. The Exemestane helped with the nipples but i still feel bloated.

Can i and should i be taking the Exemestane and Clomid while on TRT at the same time ?

so the only reason you are on trt is because you have low t? do you also have symptoms of low t? if so what?
You shouldnt take an e2 blocker bc you need baseline bloodwork...you need to be careful with e2 blockers you can **** yourself. men need some e2 and if you make yours too low you will feel worse....also the less drugs the better. Reducing the dose from 200 mg to 100 mg will probably solve all of your e2 problems. kel was on the money imo.

I use to feel tired all the time, i had no libido, ED, very low energy. I started the TRT and felt better, i started witht he 100 mg and that didn't work too well so i went to the 200 mg. Now the problem is that i feel bloated and can't get as ripped as i used to be.

I take 60 mg test twice a week and it gets me to 1085 total test and free at 22 with e2 at 37. Test is at the upper range and estrogen is still low enough not to need a ai. At 75 mg twice a week i was 1185 total but e2 was 47. Some times less and a little more often is better.
