She's already got me wrapped around her little finger! Lol
My older daughter who is now 20 and obviously not so huggy or exited when she sees me even if it's been a couple of week gave me a good compliment a couple of weeks ago. As most kids she use to think our family was messed up compared to others because we/I had rules, guidelines and didnt just let her run wild like a lot of parents do. (Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence syndrome.) She said now that she has been out on her own a little and really getting to see families for what they really are that our family is pretty normal and a lot better than most. LOL

It's great when they finally appreciate the parents. I've got quite a few years before my kids would likely say anything like that, but I will say, when my son was born 6 years ago, one of the first things I did was call my parents and apologize for being such a pain in their ass as a child!!! Lol

Your parents will get their retribution for you being a PITA by spoiling their grand kids and watching them give you grief when they are teens. lol
