So DMSO is for horses, but it's safe for us? Is the gel 99.9% ok to use?
I believe kel said that high of purity may irritate the skin quite a bit.Originally Posted by Igifuno

taking today off.. shoulder are on deck and I worked back yesterday. Chest is still sore as hell (surprised) so I'll get more out of rest and then back to war tomorrow.
Yes. Dilute it down a bit though. You don't want it that strong. Could cause skin irritation, etc.

Nice back AD
Chest and arms today. Seemed like every old person and their kid was there. Every time I turned around the machine I wanted was taken. Turned out to be a good workout anyway. Very mental again today working on pushing to the extreme. Lowered the weight and focused on the muscle. Almost one week into pct think my mind is playing the"your getting smaller game" gonna keep pushing hard.
Yes. Although (at 1 application on first day and two applications on second and third day to an area the size of the palm of your hand to armpit area) i have not experienced a "rash" or discolouration I did however notice a slight thickly itch at one point today.
If I hadn't rushed I'd have got a 70%-80% DMSO to 30%-20% aloe vera combination as this is strangely noted in what studies I found to not only cause less irritation but actually have better effect than pure DMSO (oddly enough).
I have not experienced the "garlic" like taste supposedly reported but I may not exactly be using an especially large amount as applying by finger as its a small area.
I "think" it may have provided some small amount of relief or this could well be due to me simply healing. Its hard to honestly tell. I am using nsaids/painkillers at night and msm crystals during the day.
This is only 3 days. Either way I'm glad I'm improving injury wise.
Marcus, this is what I imagine you do to your training partners if they tried to bail out early.
Watch him push Cormier back as he still has 2 reps to do, happens 40 seconds in
Dorian Yates and Chris Cormier/Directors cut/ extra 10 minutes of unseen footage - YouTube
Then skip to 7 minutes

One thing I noticed on the leg press was they were fully extending their knees, not keeping constant tension on them and they were also not going quite as deep as I thought they could on the negative end? Can anyone explain that or elaborate on it.
Awesome. Had to watch the whole thing. Love at the end when Chris says, something wrong with homeboy. HahahaOriginally Posted by Back In Black

Remember it's only one workout and every little facet of things we learn isn't going to be utilized every time. They were going deep enough to fully work the quad muscle. Go below a 90 degree angle in the knee and much of the stress switches to hams and glutes. Too deep also can pull the lower back off of the support pad elevating risk of injury.
I just at myself silly.. 1/2 cup rice, 2 chicken breasts and a piece of fish.. I am walking around like crippled obese person right now.. and my wife is disgusted with me. lol. couldn't even touch any veggies. will have to down a glass of v-8 shortly.
Not necessarily the case. You'll see other video's of Dorian going much deeper (knees to chest) on presses. Nothing wrong with switching it up a bit. Your main lead in how you do them should be your own body mechanics and ultimately "how they feel" to you. Also remember those guys weren't kids in that video and as you age you do tend to scale back extreme rep ranges for safety and longevity.
Yes.. sometimes I have to supplement with a shake/bar, or shake/nuts, if I'm on the road. If I'm working from home, however, which is typical, I eat like a damn champ. Chicken, fish, steaks, pork chops, rice, sweet potatoes.. Also, if it's time to eat again and I still feel full, I may supplement with shake/bar, or shake/nuts
