Geothermal is best but very expensive install. I was part of the first wal-mart in canada with geothermal heating being built and they were talking about saving millions over the lifespan of the store. The idea of heated floors in residential situations is great because heat rises and cost of heating will drastically reduce....so long as you dont leave it on all the time. Its best (imo) to incorporate the in-floor heating with an automation system or something controlled remotely. Because im only mid-lower class I would only use it in a bathroom.
