I have spent three days reading scientific journal articles on TB-500

The thing that stuck in my mind is the way they calculate animal safe doses to human safe doses. The one article had the information from greyhounds and its use and then they calculated to human weight. At 200 pounds the initial dose would have been in the 10-15 range with the subsequent doses in the 6-7 range. In general bodybuilders across forums say the 5 up front and 2 subsequent are too low for any noticeable "gains". At minimal the weight of the subject is very important to consider when using this substance.

I am very interested in this for recovery mechanism.

when doing a straight line correlation from animals to humans to determine doses, you can run afoul. for example, just say a 2000lb horse doses at 15mg/week. this doesn't necessarily mean you divide by ten to come up with the proper dosage for a 200lb man. (which admittedly, 1.5mg is about half of what I would normally expect a weekly dose to be). it would be a clue as to the proper dose, and maybe a starting point if no data available and the drug you are experimenting with is fairly benign.

now, I bolded your word "gains" for a reason. when I hear this word, to me, this means gains in the gym with respect to size and strength. But TB is not used for this purpose. 5mg on the first injection and 2mg per week after that is actually a fairly typical protocol.

To add to TR's point- from memory canine physiology requires higher dosing for most drugs other than some anti-inflamitories and antibiotics. Opiates, benzos etc they seem to be able to take 5-10x what a human can.

At 200lbs I had good results with 5mg per week, my log is on this forum. What's the worst that can happen? If you are worried about max dose i humans, look up RGN-352 trials. Higher doses of TB4 used for MS and cardiac issues.
