Thanks, Times Roman. I do appreciate that. It was years ago, and he will get what's coming to him, one way or the other. Maybe you can understand what I am wanting from my post above... maybe not.

I want to box, I want to do the iron man and all these 5k's and not worry about any of it. I want to look and feel great, and I want as much strength as I can get. I don't want to look like a mom of three, but be able to tote all three of them if I had to.

ok. I'm clear now with what you are trying to do.

    first things first.

regardless of what all the TV commercials suggest, you cannot get "ripped" in 30 days, or 60 days for that matter. but you already know that. it is better to be patient, and learn to be satisfied with slow and steady progress. Time is your friend, not your enemy. You can accomplish great things in six months.

I'm glad to hear your diet is better than average. However, and I'm serious about this, I'd suggest reading up on diet and nutrition by going here:

    NUTRITION RESOURCE FORUM

There is actually much to learn. How you feel about yourself in large part is based on how you feed yourself. Avoiding all sugar, almost all processed food (it's tough to do), and focusing on whole foods (means brown rice instead of white) will take you a long way. Learn about the glycemic value of the carbs you eat, and focus on slow burning as opposed to fast burning carbs. Oats are good, mashed potatoes are bad. Drink water when you are thirsty. take a good multi vitamin everyday, one for women that has extra iron if that is something you need.

Stay involved in group discussion on this board. Believe it or not, staying active here may improve your motivation, something we all need (I certainly do) if we want to stay motivated year after year.

Learn about TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) by going here

    http://forums.steroid.com/nutrition-...penditure.html

to lose fat, make sure your daily caloric consumption is at least 500 cals/day below your TDEE. (TDEE is not an exact science, there is some trial and error involved)

learn about your macros, and how to balance them to optimize them by going here:

    http://forums.steroid.com/nutrition-...ent-chart.html

    (macros are protein/carbs/fat and calories)

this is getting a bit long, so i'll stop for now, but you get the idea. there is much to learn, and most don't really know enough about nutrition to get the most out of their food consumption as it relates to their goals.

Let me know if any questions

    ---Roman

It wasn't long enough- I appreciate that!! At least you listened! You didn't just sell me something to go inject into myself and drop off the face of the earth (I tried to find out what filter he may have used but suddenly (ha) he is impossible to reach.) Anyway- I don't know. That's the exaggerated point I was trying to make above. I WANT to know. I've had my babies, and now I want to focus on me and my body to be the best ME for me and them.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH.
