    FIRST EVER CYCLE---Need advise

    I need advise on some good beginner cycles. I have done plenty of research and am semi-knowledgeable about certain types and kinds of AAS. I am thinking about starting off with 8 weeks of Testosterone Enanthate with 500mg per week, along with Deca-Durabolin at 300mg per week. Would this be a reasonable first cycle?
    Here are my stats:
    Weight:180
    Height:5'11"
    Bodyfat: 10-15%

    My goal is to gain significant size and increase my strength. What would anyone recommend along the lines of PCT and prevention of gyno?

    is your body ready for steroids?

    how many years of recent gym time do you have?
    I'm assuming your diet is dialed in and able to support your gains post cycle? (if your diet is NOT dialed in, then your gains will dissipate post cycle - you need to know how to eat right)

    standard first cycle is

    600mg test e per week, for 12 weeks.

    have your HCG and PCT ready prior to starting your cycle.

    and sorry, saying your body fat is between 10 and 15% is like me saying my weight is between two and three hundred pounds. it tells me nothing. time to pry open that dusty wallet of yours and shell out the $25 needed for a set of body fat calipers

    What I mean by 10-15% is 10% being my cutting stage percentage, and 15% being my bulking percentage. I have been in the gym everyday since I was 14. What do you mean by "diet is dialed in"? Meaning I have a set diet plan? Or, I have a plan lined up for when i go on my cycle?

    I mean you will need to calculate TDEE before and after cycle to adjust for the additional LBM. Typically, you should be 500cals/day above TDEE to more or less clean bulk. 1000+cals/day to more or less "quick bulk" or "dirty bulk". Hit your macros correctly to minimize how much fat you lay on 40/40/20 is a starting point in your macro break down. have BF calipers on hand to verify not picking up too much bf%. Visual inspection works, but is non quantifiable. and when it comes to carbs, know which carbs are good and others not so good.

    Ya that makes sense. I am currently eating 1.5 cups rice, 1 yam, and 10oz of chicken for all 6 of my daily meals, which totals up to around 3,000 calories a day, so I should increase that to around 4,000 calories per day?

    maybe. 4000cals/day is a lot for me. Always full, feels like I'm force feeding my self.

    what is your TDEE? your macros split?

    suggest going to the nutrition section and posting your diet, meal by meal, including macros per meal and macros per day

    more than happy to make suggestions, but let's do it in the right subforum

    if you knew about glycemic values, you'd probably skip the rice and sub maybe oats or something else with a better value.
