Some great advice is offered here but is this much gear necessery for someone looking to get get ripped for the beach?

Don't take this personal fellas...just trying to provoke some more thought. I weigh 200lbs and I'm only running 300 grams of test a week and it seems to be more than adequate in helping to preserve muscle. And this is coming from a someone with aveage genetics, if that.

I don't think so.......... by this may I hope to be in the 190's and running a cycle very close to that one.
