Really? Trying what? That's like me saying the 350lbs fat slob I saw at my gym sitting on a bike in the cardio room for over 30 minutes never once peddling but only sitting watching TV and reading the paper was trying just for making to the gym. Ill bet he parked in the handy capped spot also instead of walking a few extra feet.

No he is not trying. Put the fvcking pizza down and get on the treadmill.

Where I am it's the only 24 hr gym so kinda no choice. But yea they have a pizza day and a bagel day. Never go during the day except on weekend. That's funny though, I love pizza just not at the gym. Whoever thought of it must be an idiot.

How do you even get a good workout in there? Serious question. How? That place has a lunk alarm that goes off if you drop a weight or grunt. They don't allow deadlifts some have gotten rid if their squat racks altogether. A 16 year old girl was asked to leave because she was "intimidating some of the lady's dressed as she was" in compression shorts and sport bra but she was fit.

I really hate that place and it's a damned shame that they can even put "fitness" in their name.

Eat meticulous, train ridiculous for best results.

Just to show how messed up things are this is considered acceptable but someone who is big is considered a freak and frowned upon.

That is quite true but that can be said for many of the "norms" like for example not going drinking every weekend and eatting crap all the time is acceptable but going to the gym and eatting right you are weird.

That is all this is about...a sales pitch that includes greasy food to get people to pay hundreds in membership fees. They dont give a shit about people actually becoming healthy at their facility they just want the money. When I was in college there was planet fitness down the road from my apt....two block walk....I drove across town to a real gym after checking out the place full of what looked to be a curves class.

trust me you need to use your imagination. The one I go to never more than 6-10 ppl and I do dead lift. Unfortunately it's is on a smith. I use mostly barbell and machines, db's only go up to 75 so don't use them much except for some shoulder and arm work. They bitch a little when I squat, there is a 400 max on smith. I wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the 24 hr thing. I do go to worlds gym on weekend sometimes. But I have to pay for daily use. Ct sucks, piece of crap state. Hope to be gone soon.

No lie, my high school colors were purple and gold. So it would be like lifting in high school all over again.

Didn't realize it was such a popular color combo, and lifting the girls doesn't quite count.
