So hopefully this panorama works. The village on the mountain side of this river, is one of the first in bali. They believe on not burying the dead. So they place the bodies as is under this tree that's supposedly soaks up the smell and they leave it there. Not many foreigners get to see it. First pic famous beach here in bali forget the name.

Next four are from the 2nd famous temple on top of a mountain side with amazing views and a sunset...then a traditional dance show.

Very cool. I hope to retire to an island not unlike this one sometime in the near future. Wife's father gave us a nice little island property for a weeding present but it does not have a house on it yet.

Wow!!! I just googled Floating Maldives Islands.
Are these for real? I have to think most are just concept and not actual islands or we/I would have seen them on the news by now.

I was surprised when I was on a snorkeling tour how we were out in the middle of no where with no land in sight and able to stand in the water chest deep to feed the stingrays.

Even my recent Mexico trip we were able to walk a long ways from shore and still be only waste deep in water. I did manage to find some sea urchins and impale one of my fingers on it's spikes.

It was like a hot bath and you could walk out easy and stand up, they have little sand banks just popping up everywhere depending on the tide so its cool you can just walk out to one. You can see other islands there's 1200 of if I remember but its one of the most romantic places ive ever been to.
