So after my first pin in each quad I never had PIP issues again. Here I am on pin #13 and 2 days after I pinned my left quad I get what I think is some crazy sore PIP. ( 1ml test cyp / 200mg) But my quad feels pretty swollen, not very noticeable in the mirror thank god, but it's definitely slightly bigger. The pain feels like a deep bruise and it is an inch or two below the injection site. Last night my quad was warm to the touch also. I use alcohol on the vial, another on the leg. I let the alcohol dry. I use fresh and sterile pins from the package. Draw and pin with different needles. Only difference was that I finished a vial so I used maybe 1/10th extra of a ML this pin. Nothing significant at all. I checked my temp last night...98.6, no fever and I felt fine. Pinned Thursday morning, it's now Tuesday. Any thoughts?

im thinking you hit a nerve with the pin or the force of the injection itself against a nerve...that's the only time I get pip anymore...just a thought...

I've had those many times. They go away so no worries. I seem to get them when I'm rushing and inject too fast.

With the leg being warm in addition to the swelling for so many days I was fearing an infection, but my body temp is perfect.

    Probably noob freaking out. Hopefully.

You'll get local tenderness and heat. Your leg's angry with you. lol I get that sometimes when I inject my glutes. Give it time. Sometimes I've seen the swelling and heat last up to a week.

So the swelling seems to be localized now to a solid, baseball sized (diameter only, not a full ball) lump at the injection site. This is the area that feels bruised, slightly red and warm.

This morning the pain seemed to have subsided some. Training this evening just made it worse but that's probably due to the barbell brushing up the thigh.

Better than yesterday I think atleast.

Like the guys said ... it will subside. It just has to run its course.

    Thanks again guys.

With another pin coming up tomorow, I obviously can't go into that left quad as scheduled.

My right quad feels great, zero pip from Sunday.

Is it too soon to re-pin there, or should I give a glute a try for the first time?

You should have at least 4 spots to pin....definitely do not hit that quad again.

You want at least 7 days between spots. 4 spots would give each spot about 14 days break in between if long esters ( forget what u r pinning).

If not comfortable with glutes...try delts....pretty easy.

Delta seem scary with so much less mass for a. 1" pin. Ha ha. Trying to aspirate and do everything with one hand.

Do I go full depth in a delt with a 1"?

    I do...it's pretty easy man.

If you go with glutes I would get 1.5" pins though. Could be your issue with the quad...might not have gone deep enough and some oil just didnt get into the must and just under the skin.

    Thanks man

General swelling and pain has subsided some.

The giant "knot" is still there and pretty large. I feel like things are getting better though. Tommorow will be day 7 since I pinned that leg.

Really debating between delt or glute tommorow. Thinking delt since all I have are 1" pins.

Thismorning the Quad seems noticeably better pain wise.

The large mass or knot is still there. Makes quad look pretty wide in the mirror, kinda wish the other looked that way ha ha.

    Delt pin!

Went into left Delt today. Kinda shaky, aspirating was slightly tricky; but overall it was not a bad process. 1" pin buried all the way.

Feels similar to all the unpleasant Anthrax vaccinations I used to get in the delts.

Have determined that I will be avoiding my left quad indefinitely.

After all the symptoms went away and I pinned my left, right delts and my right quads, I decided to put the left quad into the rotation as it had felt great for over a week.

Pinned Monday, it's now wed. And it ****ing hurt again. Probably pinned that quad with no issue 8 times before. But now it's just acting up.

Will for sure be avoiding it for the remainder of this cycle.
