Wear it where ever is most comfortable and allows you to lift the most weight/get the most intra abdominal pressure. It'll take a while to figure out but look up how to properly use a belt (how to properly brace and breath into it etc) and you'll figure it out in no time.

There's single prong, double prong and lever belts I'd recommend a single prong or a lever belt whatever you like the best but double prong is just a hassle to get on and off sometimes. Always get a 4" wide 13mm thick belt.
