I was following this thread and one thing I don't get it!!Why if an arab does something bad,they say it's Islam,but when an american or europian does a bad thing,no one says its christianity?You can't blame a religion because of an individual,cuz all depends in menthality.Arabs don't represent islam,i met many arabs who didn't had clue about islam,or they just didn't care,they drink alcohol,eat pork,smoke weed etc.

thats the power of Media for you. They got us so good that if we see Arab even from a distance the first thing that will come to our mind oh Arab , must be muslim and must be terrorist. Now you can see how much we got effected by main stream media.

Well maybe part of it is because they themselves are the ones saying it's in the name of Allah = God to the Muslim belief and actually, especially Obama like to point his fingers at Christians for past sins. There are also some small extreamist groups such as KKK who claim to be Christians but most other Christians reject their claims.

No you cant blame them all or even a majority except for the fact they out number ISIS but 100/1 and are not standing up to them in their own country and coming to other countries then demanding special treatment.

There are pro and cons to the argument for sure.

IMO the reason behind them not standing up to ISIS is fear of death and retaliation. 90% of middle eastern men I have met are actually pretty passive and tolerant. They do not like confrontations and are easily thrown off-guard when spoken to aggressively. In my profession North American Rig workers are a "rough & tough" bunch and it's part of the job, taking that same attitude with me to the Middle East was an eye opener. You cannot speak to them the way we speak to each other or they get scrambled and you get nothing done.

We could argue the same on our side of the pond. We get people come in and want us to conform to their ways. WE as North Americans DO conform otherwise we are branded racists.
The only difference is the ones that show up on our boarders do not show up with guns and violently push their views upon entry. Never the less, we still conform to their demands and change our ways to suit their new found "freedom"
What can we do about this? Nothing because our government lets it happen.
