Morning everyone. Long shift last night. Headed towards the house for some sleep. Just picked up this stupid potassium pill the Dr. prescribed. She started me on klor-con M20 twice/day. Maybe this will help a tad with the run down feeling, we'll see.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

So are we talking about logging more cardio? Because I'm in. I'm going to start waking up earlier and doing 45-60 mins in the morning.

20 rep breathing squats - 1 set straight into 1 set of 20 pullovers

Leg curls 1 straight set to positive failure, 1 double drop set

    1 set Romanian dumbbell deadlifts

1 triple drop set leg extensions

5 sets total for quads and hams, can't tell you how much I was blowing after each set and how often I felt the need to sit down or puke lol.

For the record I started doing 100 mins of cardio per week, summer is coming after all.

In summer, I usually do it Monday-Thursday mornings. Friday Saturday & Sunday I'm at home with my kids while my wife is working.

Also, I say summer because I like to do it outdoors. I have a treadmill, but it gets to monotonous after the first few minutes that it drives me insane. If its dark at 7:00am and I'm on the treadmill its a mind ****er.

So I'm talking about doing that again. Mon-Thurs mornings. I can log it after I do it.

Should we start a lazy ****ers' cardio thread?

    Heavy back session today.

I did a lot of isolation work but heavy work today.

    Hammerstrength lat pull down machine.

    Seated row machine.

Db rows heavy and slow to rip the muscle apart.

Then heavy deadlifts was hard but pushed through.

Then yates style lat pull downs to finish.

    Well cardio started.

    Did light legs also.

    Cardio:

    25 min treadmill.
Started 3.0 speed and increased slowly to 3.6.
Same time I would increase incline by 3% every couple mins. 0-15. Then dropped back down by 5 cause legs were on fire lol.

    Feels good to start again.

Legs were light and quick. Still trying to figure out what I can do with knee.

Was thinking of doing "half squats" but decided reverse vsquat. Only had 6 45s total.

    Seated calves

    Extension

    Curls

Done. See how I feel tomorrow

I had to squat over the mirror to take those. Not an easy feat to achieve such high quality images single handed!

    Chest

pre exhaust superset - I did this even though my RC feels not to bad I still thought I would look after it and also I needed the workout to be short because was doing cardio afterwards and need to be somewhere today. Workout went well I think I am getting some movement back into the muscle size on my chest what I lost due to the RC injury.

Cardio - 30mins - moderate bike - at 30mins I had enough which is very poor I know but its an improvement on the 20mins ive been doing at home, so here we go lets see what happens

    Yesterday's UPPER BACK/traps & DELT work

    Shrugs
    Warm ups
    3w at 585 x 15 finish set of failed first(RPd)
    2w @ 495 x 15 finished if failed first w/RP

Smith wide grip/S/S'd w/KB upright rows
Slow controlled - 5x 8-12 or failure first

    Heavy DB laterals
    3x 8-10

    Leaning side laterals w/cables
    3x 15-20 or failure w/RP to finish

    BB bent over rows
    Warm ups
5x 225 by 8 if failing first then RPd to finish 8 reps

    CG lat pulls
3x 15 slow and controlled w/big stretch in lats

    One arm DB rows
    3x 20 @ 110 dropping to 100s to finish reps/so RPd basically 3x a set

Fvk me this hurt - I pulled something on last set in upper back of neck :/
Quads or hammies/glutes & low back(one or the other)

Weights done in 50+ min -- sore all the fvk over - we overloaded the weight and used RPs or drops to finish rep scheme so surely hitting failure on every movement
So hungry so Gonna eat steak(1lb & rice 4c Jasmine)

    Morning all

Had a shitty day yesterday, and for good reason, however, my session was fueled by lots of anger! Wish it were that easy to get into the mental mind zone like that ed... Will be thinking of more way to do this.... I'd use it(& I will), although it could make me send negative energy to people... My one client felt it yesterday... Good thing we've become close enough to talk things out already! She then had a good w/o too

    Have a kicka$$ w/e all!

Did back. Strength was up. Real. HIT today.

Close grip pull downs. Failed at 5, dropped for 2, dropped again for 2, attempted a res pause but couldn't complete the ROM. So I held that half rep like my life goddamn depended on it. Felt like an hour. Burned like it was days.

Seated rows. Failed at 7 and that was a bit high, so I rest paused and fulfilled one whole rep and held the contraction until a natural negative occurred. Dropped and only got 1 full rep.

Flat bar Lat pull downs. Failed at 8 and only had weight set up for 1 drop but only got 2 anyway.

Double DB bent over rows. At this point I couldn't activate lats well because they were damn dead. Kept feeling it in upper middle back even with proper form. So I only did 1 failure set and got 7. Lighted it up a bit and let the elbows fly to torch the upper back. Did 16 until I failed without breaking form.

Heavy ass BB shrugs. Went with my all time deadlift max and repped a handful each time I tried it. Felt awkward but I didn't care.

****ing pumped up today. Was a great workout.

Had the word "Unstoppable" in my head the entire time. Even said it a couple times.

    Unstoppable.
