I am 31 and after the last several years of not committing to the gym or a cycle, I decided to give it a good go, and I couldn't be happier. I don't miss carbs at all. In the leaner pic, the night before with a day's worth of food and water in me and salt and electrolytes intake (gotta keep both of those high on keto diet), I weighed 193-195 can't remember too well.
My meals for today were
Breakfast
3 whole eggs, 2 slices of bacon, pico de gallo and cheese for the eggs, butter to grease the pan, and a tablespoon of coconut oil in the mouth (also coffee with sweet n low and creamer)
Lunch
Some combination of genoa salami, cheddar cheese stick, and salted roasted almonds that gave me the correct macros
Post workout meal
(Went to mooyah burger but checked their website for average cals and nutrients per serving to make sure I was good)
Single burger, slice of american cheese, tomato slice, double avocado, bacon, mustard, mayonnaise, and onions
Dinner
salad with 1/2 cup of bleu cheese crumbles (actually too much cheese this time made me sick so will have to get fats from elsewhere next salad and just do 1/4 cup), 2 slices of bacon, balsamic vinaigrette, greek olives, sliced almonds, baby spinach and spring mix salad lettuce
2nd dinner
Gutted Jalapenos filled with regular cream cheese and wrapped in bacon
I snack on 90% cacao dark chocolate from Lindt brand (can be found at wal mart) if hungry throughout day
Sorry for not being more specific with how much cheese or how much bacon etc., but you need to find how much fats/protein you need for your current weight and goals.
