For extra absorption. My body will just stop absorbing meds sometimes and I will go In every 6 weeks for labs cause it constantly drops. It's been a constant battle for 7 years. I am my best with my TSH at 0-.5 , ifs it's above 1.0 I am sluggish. My T3 is best in the top 3/4 of range and 3/4 for T4. Everyone is different. That's me though.
That's a lot of hormones. If you need to keep TSH that low in order to feel better, you already know you can't go back at this point, especially since everything else seems on point.

Hashi is a different story. I can absolutely not have one ounce of gluten without getting really sick, vomiting within 20 min.
I don't have such strong reactions but I've been off gluten for three years by now, it improved some symptoms, and should help with autoimmunity.

You got tested for coeliac disease I guess? Ever run a small intestine biopsy?

Do you know your Iron and B12 status? I need IM B12 because levels will stay low no matter oral supp. Iron, I've been supplementing for three years by now and my stores are still borderline low.

My adrenals took a crap and I have to be on steroids to boost my cortisol since my thyroid attacks everything.
I can tell you when I am dosed right, have great cortisol levels and drink bone broth daily, my body works amazing.
The thyroid can't attack the adrenals directly but can mess with the HPA axis. Is your hypocortisolism central (ie. low ACTH) or primary? Ever tested for addison disease?

I also don't produce female hormones naturally, I am on progesterone. I have more testosterone In my body than most woman according to my dr.
High T for a woman can be a great thing to have, if it's not giving you any issue, androgen-charged women are the best imo.

What is the reason for hypogonadism? Heck you sound like you got polyglandular endocrine syndrome. Anyone else in your family with same condition(s)?

I'm diagnosed low T too.

I went into thyroid toxosis and my thyroid almost died. Thank god my dr caught it.

I get nervous messing with steroids due to my thyroid. I never want to feel that low ever again when I crash.
You mean thyrotoxicosis? That's bad. Of course the transitory flood of hormones will shut down TSH so you will crush as soon as it ends.

Androgen can play with TBG (thyroxine binding globulin) and that's the major carrier of thyroid hormones around the body. Strong androgens will be especially harsh in that context, but I don't see major issues with low dose orals.

I am on 10,000 iu of Vit D 3, I eat a ton of omegas cause I live on salmon

I heard selenium is good too. My dr doesn't have me take it right now.

I eat extremely clean and have for 7 years and do everything to benefit my thyroid.

I am so glad someone on here has it too and maybe understands what I go through all the time. It's a battle, but right now is under control, thank goodness

I also suffer from lymph-nodes enlarging a lot.

How is yours right now?
Does that dose of D3 put you high enough in range? I hope your salmon is wild caught. I never eat farmed salmon, it's exceedingly polluted.

Selenium is good too, some will argue it's needed for T4->T3 conversion but it's real benefits stem from its strong anti-oxidant power.

You can supplement with it no prob, I don't feel anything special from it but it seem to do wonders for some. Avoid inorganic forms such sodium selenite, it's worthless and even potentially toxic. Best Selenium as a supplement is yeast-free l-selenomethionine, and according to research benefits start at 200mcg daily over a long period, without risk of toxicity.

I'll get extremely sluggish and depressed if I don't eat clean. Unfortunately, our systems can't handle junk food like anyone else. If our lives had a soundtrack, it would be "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff.

My lymph nodes went crazy swollen and tender in April. Thing is, I had run out of omega 3s and didn't care to order more, in a couple weeks my thyroiditis flared up like no tomorrow, you wouldn't believe but no matter I was and still lacking any hunger yet having a bad diet this resulted in a sudden 20lbs fat gain... then started pinning some Tren in early May, not feeling spectacular from it but the lymph nodes regressed back to normal in a week. Of course also stocked enough fish oil for the summer.

Now I need to diet to lose all that fat.
